We're proud to be the largest corporate donor to the ASPCA.
*Subaru retailers will donate $100 for every pet adopted from partner shelters from October 1, 2023 through October 31, 2023 up to $3,100 per retailer.

Jan 8, 2024 Dear Friends at Dreyer & Reinbold Subaru, On behalf of the entire team at the Interchurch Food Pantry of Johnson County, I want to extend our heartfelt thanks for your generosity and unwavering support. Your very gracious donation of 631 pounds of food is a lifeline for countless families within our community, and it will leave a lasting mark in the year ahead. Thanks to donors like you, we've been able to provide essential food assistance for 36,469 household visits in 2023, even more than our record year of 2022. The need continues as the high cost of living exceeds the incomes for so many in our community. Our dedicated volunteers work tirelessly, providing drive-through food distribution services five days a week, along with two Saturdays each month. We also engage in food rescue efforts to supplement our food purchases. This year, we've faced soaring food costs due to the rising demand for our services. Your generous donation enables us to make a tangible difference in the lives of those who are grappling with food insecurity. We have served the Johnson County community for the past 40 years and look forward to continuing to be a beacon of hope for those in need. Your vital contribution has played a pivotal role in our mission to combat hunger, and we remain profoundly grateful for your unwavering commitment. Once again, we extend our deepest gratitude for your generosity and for joining us in our mission to create a positive impact in our community. Your support is truly a blessing. Warm regards, Carol Phipps Executive Director Interchurch Food Pantry of Johnson County
After a devastating fire in February of this year that burnt our supply building to the ground, we are in desperate need of supplies to take care of all our dogs and cats. During the month of November Dreyer & Reinbold Subaru partnered with Rosie’s South Side Shelter with a fundraiser to help resupply our shelter. Dreyer & Reinbold Subaru gave a discount on any service performed during the month of November to any customer who donated at least two items to the fundraiser. Well, the fundraiser was a success and we received lots of supplies. To close out the event, Dreyer & Reinbold Subaru hosted a pet adoption event on November 25th. and it too was a huge success, we brought five dogs to the event and we are happy to say that ALL five dogs found their forever homes. We would like to thank Dreyer & Reinbold Subaru and all their customers for their generous donations. It’s because of people and companies like Dreyer & Reinbold we can continue our mission of helping animals.

The Refuge is a faith based non-profit food pantry. We strive to offer our families not only food, but love and support. We meet with them face to face each visit and spend time investing in their lives and praying with them. We offer food, hygiene items, diapers, etc.... We want to not only be a place passing out food, but a ministry that spreads the word of God and helps our community come together to assist those in need. We see quite a few homeless people, so your donation of socks to our organization is such a blessing! We look forward to this partnership continuing and growing in the future. Special thank-you to Andy!!
In early August 2022, a concerned citizen found a stray dog wandering a busy street and brought her to Rosie’s Southside Animal Shelter. Upon intake staff quickly identified that Bunny, 1-year old Great Pyrenees was severely underweight. After several months of working on helping her to gain weight, she was on the right track for adoption in October. Through our partnership with Dreyer & Reinbold Subaru of Greenwood, we hosted a Make A Dog’s Day event at Rosie’s Southside Animal Shelter: 1614 W Edgewood Ave. At the event we passed out Subaru Bark Boxes, each dog received a Chewbaru, customers enjoyed the food cart, and had an opportunity to meet all our adoptable dogs. After the exposure from the adoption event, Bunny found her forever home. She is now living her best life with her forever family! Rosie’s Southside Animal Shelter would like to thank Andy Thilmar and Dreyer & Reinbold Subaru of Greenwood.
Please know we are deeply grateful for Dreyer & Reinbold Subaru Greenwood recent gift of $15,000 to support Riley Children’s Foundation through your annual Subaru Share the Love Event. Thanks to your generous support, Riley Children’s Foundation can direct funding toward exceptional care and research. The money raised through the Subaru Share the Love Event helps Riley Kids like Bryson Faus. He is 9 years old and has the biggest, most beautiful blue eyes, and his personality just warms your heart. Less than 24 hours after he was born, doctors at a hospital elsewhere told Bryson’s parents that he had a life-threatening congenital heart defect and needed to be rushed to Riley. His parents were told to take pictures of their newborn baby, because no one was sure if he would even survive the trip. He not only survived – thanks to Riley, he’s thriving. When I saw him just a few weeks ago, he was all smiles – he was just a kid having a great time talking about his Legos creations. These are the types of stories made possible by the generosity of people like you – thank you. Thank you again for being part of the community that brings hope to young people and their families. We appreciate all you and your colleagues do to lift Riley kids!
Greenwood Subaru sponsored our school, Southwest Elementary, and we are so grateful! Their kind donation helps every grade level purchase things they need! We also received quite a great stock in school supplies for kiddos and classrooms. Thank you Subaru!

Tanner was just exhibiting normal active puppy behavior. A family came in and adopted him and returned him for being too active again. We had a nice couple come in and they were willing to take the necessary time and effort to train Tanner. They have all settled in and are very happy family now!

We partnered with Subaru loves pets 31 pets in 31 days in October. It was a great success. One story that stands out to us is Mr. Bojangles. He is a feisty kitten and was getting passed up for the more lovable ones. Roman and his mom frequently volunteer at the shelter. Romans dog had recently passed away. He connected with Mr. Bojangles and they became immediate friends. Of course Roman knew he had to take Mr. Bojangles home. Mr. Bojangles feistiness somehow subsided in Romans arms.

When Eric Kett and Mark Brown of Dreyer & Reinbold Subaru pulled up in their new Ascent, full of blankets and tote bags, Franciscan Health staff members were ready for the onslaught of boxes. Michelle Nees, program coordinator of the bone marrow transplant unit, thanked them: “Thank you so much for this donation; it really means a lot to us.” At least six staff members, from two nurses and one BMT doctor to the community outreach director, from the oncology marketing director to the media relations director, were on hand to receive the donation and thank Dreyer & Reinbold Subaru. Delivering beautiful dark blue blankets, cute arts & crafts kits, and touching and personal cards to patients undergoing cancer treatment at IU Simon was a wonderful finale of this year’s Subaru Loves to Care program with Dreyer & Reinbold Subaru in Greenwood and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Estel “Stew” Stewart, clinical manager at IU Simon, shared how much patients have appreciated these unexpected gifts. Thank you to Dreyer & Reinbold – and especially to Andy – for literally bringing warmth to cancer patients at IU Simon with these blankets, and for bringing love and care through cards and craft kits! I wish I had pictures of a completed garden to send you! It is coming together it's just that when we received your offer to help us, things started to come together and it has taken on a life of its own! I actually have a meeting tomorrow morning about the next phase of our project actually breaking ground and construction! The sketch will be a little different when we actually plant. When this was drawn up, we didn't know what plants you were going to bless us with yet those obviously will be included! I love what you're doing with sending visitors out to a school. It would be awesome to have them with us for a ribbon cutting ceremony, don't you think?! I'll keep you posted on our progress. Thank you so much!
