The salesperson, James Newman, who assisted me, was professional but also personable. He answered all of my questions and introduced me to other members of the dealership. Everyone was helpful and I felt like they valued my business — unlike other dealers with whom I had dealt recently. I love my new SUV and would recommend it and this salesman and dealership.
I am completely anti-dealership most especially when it comes to repairs. I always do my own repairs, however, when my clutch on my WRX refused to disengage... I was forced to rely on professionals to fix it. Most transmission shops will not touch a WRX or any Subaru for that matter except chain shops like Edward's or AAMCO. My first WRX had to have a clutch replacement and AAMCO had it for 3 weeks and I paid through the nose! Edward's quoted me $2,200 in labor alone this round. I was very pleased with my experience. I worked with Jason Hall to get my new Forrester. Due to personal considerations, I did not want to take delivery of my car until at least the third week of December. I test drove the exact Forrester I wanted in mid-November but needed to wait. I dropped my car off Sunday night, with the earliest appointment I could schedule being the following Thursday. Brian called me first thing Monday morning and my car, with some major repairs needed, was done Monday night.
