VIP Educator Program

We are proud to welcome those who nurture and educate students in our community to the Subaru VIP Educator Program. From August 1 through October 31, active classroom teachers of PreK–12 schools may be eligible for an additional $500 off the purchase or lease of a new Subaru.

Who Is Eligible?

The Subaru VIP Educator Program discount is available to active classroom teachers, principals, and vice principals of PreK–12 schools.

Eligible U.S. Educators (PreK–12):

Active Classroom Teachers
Principals and Assistant Principals
Certified Educational Assistants
Certified Substitute Teachers / Teacher Aides / Teacher Assistants
Child Development Teachers
Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) Teachers
Faculty, Lecturers, and Instructors
Instructional Assistants, Paraprofessionals
Special Education Teachers
Specialized Teachers (including, but not limited to: Speech-language pathologists, hearing impaired, JROTC, music, dance, dramatic arts, art, journalism, speech, home economics, vocational education, adult education, family and consumer science, engineering, agriculture, marketing, and athletic coaching)
Headmasters, Superintendents, and Assistant Superintendents
A spouse or domestic partner of an eligible participant, residing in the same household (verification of eligibility and address required)

Who Is NOT Eligible?

Friends or other family members of eligible participants
College or University Employees
Child care staff (working with children under PreK–Kindergarten level)
Retired Teachers
Uncertified Homeschool Teachers
Other school employees such as cafeteria, maintenance, office, computer IT staff, librarians / educational media specialists, occupational therapists, pupil personnel services, school guidance counselors, school nurses, school psychologists, school social workers, and general staff

Please note: At the time of purchase, the participant must be a U.S. resident, and the vehicle must be titled in the U.S. (excluding Hawaii).

How to Participate

1. Verify Eligibility with ID.me

Eligibility verification is a mandatory step and is securely handled by our trusted partner, ID.me. If you don’t already have an ID.me account, you will need to create one. ID.me offers multiple verification options, including State License Lookup or Document Upload.

2. Request Your VIP Authorization Form

Complete the Subaru VIP Educator Program Request Form. Auto-approved authorizations are issued immediately. Requests requiring additional information are typically processed within 24 business hours.

3. Visit Your Subaru Retailer

Bring your approved VIP Authorization Form to the Subaru retailer of your choice. The additional $500 discount will be applied to your purchase or lease.

Important Details to Note

Vehicle Eligibility: New vehicles only. Vehicles must not have been previously titled and generally have fewer than 500 miles. Demonstration and used vehicles are not eligible.
Transaction Limit: Limited to two (2) VIP program transactions per calendar year.
Program Combinations: This offer generally cannot be combined with other Subaru of America promotional offers, including VIP Premier, Signature, Military Programs, or most coupons (exceptions may apply).
Taxes and Fees: Customer is responsible for all applicable taxes, licensing, registration, lease fees, and any retailer administrative or advertising fees.
Financing and Leasing: Subject to standard credit approval. VIP customers may still qualify for special financing or lease offers available at the time of purchase.
Accessories and Extended Warranties: Pricing determined by the retailer and agreed upon at time of purchase.
Trade-Ins: Trade-in values are determined by the participating retailer.
